Athletic Performance Training (Speed, Agility, and Quickness)

 

With the help of an expert in biomechanical movement in sports, the club has developed a new program that helps players improve agility, quickness with and without the ball, and improved body mannerisms on the field to help with their explosiveness and balance. These biomechanical movement training sessions are designed to focus on the mechanics and physics of movement in sports and specifically related to soccer, the training sections are designed to mimic movements in all facets of the game related to explosive quick first step, quick turns, balance while running and dribbling with the ball, and technique.

  • Session 1 > Jan 7 - Feb 12 (6 weeks)
  • Session 2 > Feb 25 - April 2 (6 weeks)

Days/Times:

  • Tuesdays
  • U9 - U12 Coed - 6pm to 7pm
  • U13+ Coed - 7pm to 8pm 

Cost:  $175

What We Offer:

  • Coaching Staff: This program will be led by Radovan Pletka, former D1 player and Technical Director, with over 20 years of success developing elite players that have progressed to play collegiately and professionally. 
  • What to Expect: While this training program is on mechanics to improve a players overall game, it’s for all skill levels and while it is designed to be fun, it is important to understand that it will be intensive but very rewarding.
  • Inclusive Environment: Whether you're a beginner or an advanced player, this program will help players improve mechanics and technical approach to the game.
